Position Overview: Vulnerability Management Specialist

Are you dedicated to enhancing cyber security within a global framework? Société Générale Assurances is on the lookout for a skilled professional to spearhead our vulnerability management initiatives across the AMER region. As an integral part of the Cyber Threat Defense team, your role will encompass the oversight of vulnerability and configuration management, risk evaluations, patching processes, and remediation strategies. We invite candidates with 5-10 years of experience in information security, excellent communication abilities, and a robust technical foundation to consider this opportunity.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee vulnerability and configuration management efforts in the AMER region
  • Conduct risk evaluations, manage patching activities, and lead remediation efforts
  • Deliver regular updates to executive leadership
  • Evaluate and endorse improvement proposals
  • Refine reporting frameworks and present findings to key stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

Experience and Skills:

  • 5-10 years of experience in the field of information security
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Familiarity with security tools such as Qualys and Windows Defender

Educational Background/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field
  • Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, or CEH

Language Proficiency: French, English
