Job Summary

The Credit Risk Analyst is responsible for evaluating and managing credit risk for customers, ensuring the company's financial stability and profitability. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate credit applications and determine creditworthiness of customers
  • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to minimize risk
  • Collaborate with sales and profit centre managers to set credit limits and monitor customer accounts
  • Investigate and resolve customer disputes and short payments
  • Prepare delinquent accounts for collection and bad debt write-offs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • University degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 1+ year of credit or finance experience
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
