About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing IT solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement Disaster Recovery and High Availability solutions for on-premises and cloud environments.
  2. Oversee the transition of new solutions to the operational support team.
  3. Engineer server and network environments, troubleshoot issues, and integrate third-party products.
  4. Document and maintain procedures, backup environments, and configuration documents.
  5. Follow change and problem management processes and procedures.
  6. Develop or enhance policies related to IT infrastructure.
  7. Monitor industry trends and new technology, such as IaaS and Cloud Computing.
  8. Provide technical leadership to clients, management, and colleagues.
  9. Conduct vulnerability assessments and prepare client reports and presentations.
  10. Demonstrate superior customer service skills, focusing on critical thinking, effective communication, and anticipating customer needs.
Requirements
  1. 6+ years of experience supporting and designing IT solutions, with 2+ years in a senior role.
  2. Strong skills in network and hardware technologies, virtualization, shared storage technologies, and Active Directory.
  3. Experience with Cloud (Azure), IaaS, and firewall configuration and setup.
  4. Demonstrated success in designing IT solutions for businesses.
  5. Relevant certifications in indicated technologies are considered assets.
