Position Overview

North 67 Transport Inc is seeking a dedicated Truck Dispatcher to manage our transportation operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to ensuring smooth logistics and communication within our fleet.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role
Work Environment

This position is set within the Transportation sector, where you will play a crucial role in our daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll, and other summaries.
  • Maintain comprehensive work records and logs.
  • Monitor personnel workloads and their locations effectively.
  • Perform general office duties to support operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients.
  • Advise vehicle operators regarding traffic and other operational issues.
  • Assist in the maintenance of communications equipment.
  • Dispatch personnel according to established schedules and work orders.
  • Respond to emergency situations by dispatching personnel as required.
  • Follow up on any issues related to work orders.
  • Keep track of shipments and their statuses.
  • Possess knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices.
  • Understand highway trucking rules and regulations.
  • Operate radio equipment for effective communication.
  • Process and transmit information to coordinate activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
  • Record mileage, fuel usage, repairs, and other expenses accurately.
  • Respond to urgent calls from individuals in critical situations requiring assistance.
  • Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment.
  • Contact customers to provide requested updates.
