IG Wealth Management is seeking dedicated professionals across Canada to enhance our team of Corporate Employed Advisors. Candidates must hold a Mutual Fund License or Securities License and are encouraged to explore this promising opportunity.

Role Overview:

The selected candidate will be required to possess a Mutual Fund License.

As a Corporate Channel Advisor, you will deliver exceptional financial planning and advisory services to clients, focusing on the IG Living Plan. This role offers a unique chance for financial planners to enjoy a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary, bonuses, benefits, and pension, while serving existing IG clients and earning unlimited variable income. The position is primarily remote, with the flexibility to work from an IG Wealth Management regional office as necessary, ensuring a comprehensive approach to financial planning that encompasses all facets of the client's financial landscape, including investment strategies, retirement planning, mortgages, banking, and insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing comprehensive financial plans that address all dimensions of clients' financial lives, including their short- and long-term objectives, tax considerations, retirement strategies, risk management, and estate planning.
  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen and deepen client relationships while adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Ensuring a positive client experience with a focus of 85% on servicing existing clients in line with Corporate Channel service standards and 15% on expanding the client base.
  • Enhancing service levels and maximizing efficiency through the utilization of IGWM's digital resources.
  • Managing daily priorities, handling inbound and outbound client communications, executing proactive outreach campaigns, and engaging in retention initiatives provided by our Marketing team.
  • Employing analytical tools and reporting to identify future business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Must be Mutual Fund Licensed.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in client-facing financial planning.
  • Proven track record as a high achiever with strong relationship-building and sales capabilities, alongside demonstrated excellence in financial planning.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Completion of LLQP and Provincial Licensing exam for Insurance within the first 60 days of employment is required.
  • ETF trading approval is necessary.
  • Proficient in digital tools, including CRM and financial planning software.
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Financial Planner (F.Pl), or a commitment to pursue within the first two years in the role.
  • Strong understanding of the financial industry, competitive landscape, and economic market trends.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and independently, providing assistance and building relationships.
  • Customer service-oriented, with a proven ability to interact professionally with clients in a primarily virtual environment.
  • The ideal candidate will be a team player, systematic in their work approach, and thrive in a supportive environment.
