Job Title: Senior Architect Advisor-IoT

CANADIAN MICROELECTRONICS CORPORATION is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect Advisor-IoT to join our team. As a key member of our FABrIC project delivery team, you will be responsible for identifying and working with potential FABrIC ultimate recipients (URs, industrial and academic) to support the development of FABrIC challenge projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Survey and document IoT end user market sectors in Canada.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential challenge projects in alignment with the funding envelope of the overall FABrIC program.
  • Engage with the Canadian ecosystem to provide information regarding FABrIC project challenge funding, partnership opportunities, project successes, etc.
  • Provide technical support to URs in identifying and preparing project proposals for IoT project challenge calls.
  • Identify and foster matchmaking between URs to maximize impactful collaborations in challenge projects.
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of semiconductor product development, preferably with specific expertise in IoT and related products and services.
  • An advanced degree in engineering or a related subject (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience with a strong background in marketing and/or product management in the semiconductor or a related sector.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills, ability to foster and sustain partnerships, develop trusting relationships.
