Job Title: Electrical Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at LG Development & Construction Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial structures. This includes installing electrical controls and panel boxes, replacing and repairing electrical controls and panel boxes, and designing and constructing single-phase and multiphase services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install electrical controls and panel boxes
  • Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes
  • Design and construct single-phase and multiphase services
  • Splice, join, and connect wires
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and circuit integrity
  • Determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Fast-paced environment
