Job Title: Head Cashier

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Cashier to join our team at G&G's Travel Plaza (Petro Canada). As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cash handling process, managing sales floor operations, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cash Handling: Manage cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Sales Floor Operations: Supervise sales staff, assign duties, and ensure a smooth shopping experience for customers.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service, resolve customer complaints, and promote a positive store environment.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
  • Reporting: Prepare sales reports, analyze data, and provide insights to improve store performance.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or cash handling role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling
Work Environment:

Our store operates in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, work under pressure, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
