Position Overview:
Interior Health Authority is seeking a casual Combined Laboratory/X-Ray Technologist (CLXT) to support the Radiology department.
Role Responsibilities:
The CLXT will be responsible for executing a range of standard laboratory, x-ray, and ECG tasks, adhering to established departmental protocols and standards set by relevant service and accreditation organizations.
Equipment Maintenance:
This role includes performing routine and preventive maintenance on equipment, as well as diagnosing and resolving equipment issues as necessary.
Work Schedule:
As a casual employee, work hours may fluctuate between 0 and 37.5 hours weekly. Availability may include short-notice, on-call shifts, or pre-scheduled blocks to cover staff absences.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is competitive.
Work Hours:
Shifts may be scheduled during the day or evening, with hours ranging from 07:00 to 15:00, 08:00 to 16:00, 16:00 to 00:00, and 09:30 to 17:30.
