Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Coordinate Cleaning Schedules: Plan and coordinate the cleaning schedules to ensure that all areas of the facility are cleaned regularly and efficiently.
- Inspect Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify any areas that require attention and ensure that all cleaning staff are following proper procedures.
- Manage Budgets: Prepare and manage budgets for cleaning supplies and services to ensure that we are getting the best value for our money.
- Recommend Services: Identify areas where additional services may be required, such as painting or repairs, and recommend these to management.
- Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, staff performance, and budget expenditures.
- Assist Cleaning Staff: Provide support and guidance to cleaning staff as needed to ensure that they are able to perform their duties effectively.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a facilities management or cleaning services environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong organizational and time management skills.
This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week.
