Position Overview: As a Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Specialist at Port Hawkesbury Paper, you will play a crucial role in delivering electrical engineering expertise on significant maintenance and capital initiatives, alongside strategic electrical maintenance planning and oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate project execution with operational and maintenance teams while collaborating with consulting engineers, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Provide technical assistance to the electrical and instrumentation maintenance teams in addressing ongoing challenges and upgrading or replacing equipment.
  • Occasionally assume the responsibilities of the E&I supervisor.
  • Engage with various departments to foster innovative thinking and continuously seek improvement opportunities while ensuring adherence to safe work practices.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess an Electrical Engineering degree (PEng preferred, with consideration for EIT candidates) and have a minimum of three years of progressive experience in a dynamic manufacturing or related industrial setting.
