Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at Entrepreneur Paysagistes Strathmore Landscape (1997) LTEE. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to lawn care, gardening, and landscaping.

Responsibilities
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass using a variety of equipment, including lawn mowers and trimmers.
  • Rake and collect refuse, including leaves and debris.
  • Remove litter and garbage from the grounds.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Lay sod or seed to repair damaged areas.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty of our outdoor spaces.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Shovel ice and snow from track switch boxes as needed.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Working Conditions

This is a seasonal position, with a duration of less than 2 years. The working hours are 30 to 40 hours bi-weekly. The language of work is English or French. The work is physically demanding and requires the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
