Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, inspect, and maintain safety air trailers, including air quality systems, compressors, tanks, and hoses.
  • Ensure the safe operation of air trailers and equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs as needed on-site.
  • Conduct confined space entry and monitor air quality levels to ensure safe working conditions.
  • Assist in rescue operations, fall arrest systems, and other safety measures as required.
  • Set up, monitor, and dismantle air trailers for shutdown projects, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, and safety checks.
  • Coordinate with safety teams, supervisors, and other personnel to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Required Certifications
  • Confined Space Entry & Rescue
  • H2S Alive
  • Fall Arrest/Fall Protection
  • WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)
  • TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods)
  • First Aid/CPR
Qualifications
  • Previous experience managing and maintaining safety air trailers, ideally in shutdown or industrial settings.
  • Must possess your own reliable transportation to travel to multiple job sites throughout Alberta.
  • Ability to work in hazardous environments and confined spaces with proper safety precautions.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent understanding of Alberta's safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Ability to work long hours, including weekends and overtime, as required during shutdowns.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
