Child Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to join our team at Christopher Canete. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a home setting.
Responsibilities:- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, promoting positive behavior and development.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them grow into confident and capable individuals.
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children, encouraging their cognitive and motor skills.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring children receive the best possible care.
- Supervise and care for children, providing a stable and loving environment.
- Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring their transportation needs are met.
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing comfort and support when needed.
- Experience an asset, but not required.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate changing schedules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children and parents.
- Reliability, patience, and honesty are essential qualities for this role.
English is the primary language spoken in this role.
Work Setting:This position is based in the employer's home, with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
