Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Truck Dispatcher to join our team at Big Rig Hauling. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of our fleet of trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatching: Coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment, ensuring that all shipments are delivered on time and in good condition.
  • Logistics Management: Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment to optimize routes and reduce transit times.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, including mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses.
  • Communication: Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
