Position Overview:

As a vital member of our educational team, you will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and executing engaging program plans tailored for a preschool setting.
  • Documenting children's progress and activities effectively.
  • Ensuring the classroom remains clean, organized, and conducive to learning.
  • Collaborating with colleagues while maintaining a positive and supportive attitude.
  • Demonstrating reliability and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Exhibiting strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Comfortably interacting with children across various age groups.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff members.

Essential Qualifications:

Applicants must hold certification from the PEI Child Care Board. Preference will be given to those with Early Childhood Educator (ECE Level 3) credentials, although candidates with Early Childhood Assistant (Level 2) qualifications will also be considered. A Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check and First Aid/CPR certification are mandatory.

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
