Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at PRODUITS DE MÉTAL PROMETT INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating metal products using various techniques and equipment, including computer numerical control (CNC) machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
  • Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld, or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products
  • Document work completed
  • Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair
  • Lay out, set up, and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines
  • Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
