About the Role

BDO is a firm built on a foundation of positive relationships with our people and our clients. As a Manager in our Assurance & Accounting team, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing year-end engagements and tax returns for clients in various industries
  • Preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Building strong relationships with clients and responding to their requests and suggestions
  • Participating in business development initiatives and identifying new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Communicating effectively with team members regarding progress updates and issues

Your Experience and Education

  • You will have your CPA designation (an asset)
  • You will have at least 3-4 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry
  • You will have a strong interest in working with non-profit clients and a desire to develop further knowledge in this area
  • You will value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
  • You will possess strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
