After School Program Manager

Position Title: Group Leader
Organization: Colonel John Stuart Elementary
The Group Leader is tasked with overseeing children in the before and after school care program at Colonel John Stuart Elementary. The hours of operation are from 7:30 AM to 8:35 AM and 2:05 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, accumulating to approximately 26 hours weekly.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of experience in childcare settings
- Familiarity with recreational activities and programming
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Capability to work effectively as part of a team
- Completion of high school or equivalent education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
The compensation for this role is $18.28 per hour, inclusive of vacation pay. Dependents of Colonel John Stuart Elementary staff may enroll in the program at no charge. Opportunities for professional development, including training in High Five, First Aid/CPR, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, and Fundamental Movement Skills, are also available. There may be options for additional working hours.
