ROLE OVERVIEW

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Accounting: Execute full cycle accounting duties, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
  • Month-End and Year-End Processes: Oversee the closing procedures for both month-end and year-end, ensuring accuracy and currency of financial records.
  • Multi-Entity Accounting: Manage accounting tasks across various entities within the organization, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Internal Reporting and Audit: Assess internal reporting processes to confirm compliance with standards and identify areas for improvement. Conduct audits to mitigate financial risks.
  • Year-End Documentation: Prepare detailed year-end working papers to facilitate annual audits and financial reviews.
  • Accounts Management: Assist in processing accounts payable and sales transactions while maintaining the general ledger for accuracy.
  • Account Analysis: Regularly review and analyze accounts and income statements, addressing discrepancies as necessary.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • CPA certification or equivalent (or actively pursuing) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in accounting with a thorough understanding of the complete accounting cycle.
  • Proficiency in widely-used accounting software, with advanced skills in MS Excel, including lookup functions and pivot tables.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in managing financial data.
  • Experience in the automotive sector or related fields is a significant advantage.
