Chief Executive Officer

Rainbow Railroad is a leading organization in the global movement to advance and protect the human rights of LGBTQI+ individuals. As Chief Executive Officer, you will play a critical role in helping those most vulnerable find safety from persecution and violence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Rainbow Railroad's programs, staff, and strategic plan
  • Build and maintain relationships with global partners, stakeholders, and donors
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to deliver on the organization's mission
  • Represent Rainbow Railroad as a global ambassador and spokesperson
Requirements
  • Leadership and governance experience in a nonprofit environment
  • Outstanding relationship skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to tell compelling stories and impact donors, policymakers, and the broader public
