Project Overview: The selected post-doctoral researcher will delve into the intricate cross-cellular mechanisms that govern dendritic spine stability. This role will encompass a range of experimental approaches utilizing transgenic models, both in situ and in vitro, alongside various imaging techniques such as confocal, super-resolution, and two-photon microscopy. The researcher will also engage in cell biological and biochemical methodologies, as well as electrophysiological assessments and behavioral investigations.
Research Environment: This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance and broaden expertise in neuron and astrocyte biology within a vibrant and collaborative research setting. The environment is committed to principles of integrity, teamwork, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Qualifications and Skills: We invite applications from researchers who have recently completed or are nearing completion of their PhD, particularly those with a proven background in cellular signaling and imaging studies. Experience with fluorescence imaging, transgenic models, and primary cell culture will be highly regarded.
