Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care and support to clients/patients/residents in a rehabilitation nursing unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and activities of daily living to encourage optimum level of functioning.
  • Support clients/patients/residents in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Assist with medication administration, wound care, and other healthcare-related tasks.
  • Document client/patient/resident progress and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Continuing Care Assistant certificate (CCA)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
