Principal Software Engineer - Robotic Systems Development, Grocery Division

Our team comprises scientists, engineers, and business professionals who are redefining standards in reinforcement learning for robotics.

We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to contribute to our Grocery Division, focusing on the enhancement of our robotic systems. You will be responsible for developing the intelligence of our robots, enabling them to navigate challenging scenarios while refining our software architecture. Recent initiatives include:

Creating a service to estimate the time and space requirements for robots to complete upcoming tasks, facilitating coordination among multiple units Analyzing data to identify performance enhancements and validating their impact Crafting solutions tailored to various hardware configurations, utilizing both cutting-edge and established technologies

Key Responsibilities:

Make strategic design choices and devise innovative solutions aimed at optimizing our operational fleet of robots Employ both virtual and physical robots to evaluate your modifications

Qualifications:

Over 5 years of professional experience with proficiency in multiple programming languages. Our primary languages include Golang, Python, and C++, and we are confident in your ability to acquire any additional skills needed Proficient in a Linux operating environment A strong desire to learn, adapt, and tackle complex challenges Ability to enhance team capabilities through technical guidance A degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Please highlight any experience in control systems, real-time systems, distributed systems, machine vision, machine learning, robotic manipulation, material handling, industrial automation, physical or discrete event simulation, applied statistics, experimental design, or data visualization
