BRIGGS ROOFING AND SIDING LIMITED is seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team. As a Roofing Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and repairing roofs on various buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair roofs on buildings using asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and shakes, as well as masonry or baked clay roofing tiles.
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level.
  • Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
  • Install sheet metal flashings to ensure a watertight seal.
Work Environment

As a Roofing Specialist, you will work at heights and outdoors in various locations. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in roofing or a related field.
  • Certifications: Working at heights training and Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.
  • Transportation: Own transportation required.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
Working Conditions

As a Roofing Specialist, you will work in a variety of weather conditions and be required to wear steel-toed safety boots. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 30 to 55 hours per week.
