Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Veneer Processing Machine Technician to join our team at Palmieri Furniture Limited. This role involves operating specialized machinery to produce high-quality veneer products.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain machinery for gluing, pressing, trimming, sanding, and splicing veneer sheets.
  • Monitor equipment and indicators to ensure compliance with production specifications.
  • Assemble plywood panels and perform necessary repairs on plywood and veneer.
  • Manage the startup, shutdown, setup, and adjustment of process equipment.

Required Tools and Equipment
  • Safety gear including gloves and steel-toed boots is mandatory.
