Job Opportunity: Math Tutor

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced math tutor to join our team at Prep Academy Tutors. As a math tutor, you will work one-on-one with students in their homes and at select clubs in the Vancouver area, providing personalized math education and support.

About the Role

As a math tutor, your primary responsibility will be to provide academic support to students based on the BC curriculum. You will also be responsible for providing supplemental assignments to help students better understand the material, as well as remedial and enrichment support as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide math support to students based on expertise and knowledge of the BC curriculum
  • Develop and provide supplemental assignments to promote greater understanding of math concepts
  • Offer remedial and enrichment support to students as needed
  • Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress
Requirements

We are looking for BC Certified Teachers in the Vancouver area or soon-to-be teachers who meet the following criteria:

  • Energetic and enthusiastic teachers with experience teaching math
  • Committed to providing excellent customer service
  • Enjoy working with students and families
  • Great communication skills

Location and Schedule

Tutoring takes place on Monday to Friday daytime and after school, as well as on weekends. We are flexible and can work with your availability.
