Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist I to join our team at Western Memorial Regional Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our patients with respiratory conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

• Current registration with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists is required or must be registry eligible.
• Hours of Work: Monday to Sunday, on-call required.
• Salary Scale: $31.16 to $34.71 per Hour.
