Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Encourage regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical and mental well-being
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary needs and restrictions
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring clients have access to essential items
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a non-smoking environment
  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (note: this is not a condition of employment)
  • Work in the employer's/client's home
Work Environment:

Our clients require support with daily living activities, and we are seeking a Personal Support Worker who can provide compassionate and professional care. The ideal candidate will be physically demanding and able to lift up to 45-60 kg (100-132 lbs).
