Key Responsibilities
  • Arrange the bar area to create an attractive and inviting atmosphere
  • Organize the operations of our cocktail lounge or bar, ensuring seamless service and efficient inventory management
  • Clean and maintain the bar area, including washing glassware and ensuring a clean and safe environment
  • Provide expert recommendations on drink selections, taking into account our guests' preferences and dietary requirements
  • Collect payment for beverages, operate the cash register, and maintain accurate records of sales
  • Operate video lottery terminals and maintain a secure and responsible environment
  • Record and balance beverage sales, ensuring accurate financial reporting
  • Store and manage beverage and food products, maintaining a well-stocked and organized inventory
  • Order bar stock and maintain control of inventory, ensuring minimal waste and optimal stock levels
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance and a safe environment
  • Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including mixed drinks, wine, draft and bottled beer, and non-alcoholic options
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons, ensuring prompt and accurate service
  • Resolve conflict situations in a calm and professional manner
