About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Millwright to join our team at Tolko Industries. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mill machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on mill machinery and equipment, including pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers, and chains.
  • Inspect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions in equipment and machinery.
  • Troubleshoot issues and develop safe and reliable fixes to keep the mill running.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with junior maintenance staff and apprentices.
Requirements
  • Valid Interprovincial Ticket and experience working as a Millwright.
  • Experience troubleshooting hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints, plans, and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to working safely.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) - preferably JD Edwards.
