Project Cost Controls Specialist

At EllisDon Industrial, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Cost Controls professional to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects within budget and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain accurate project cost estimates and forecasts.
- Develop and implement cost control procedures to ensure compliance with project execution plans.
- Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure effective project planning and resource utilization.
- Prepare and submit quantity takeoffs, insurance requests, and bonding requests as required.
- Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings to ensure project progress and identify potential issues.
- Maintain accountability for field costs and forecast costs to complete.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in project controls.
- Estimating experience is an asset.
- Experience with cost consulting is an asset.
- Working with CCDC agreements is an asset.
- Ability to travel to project sites, with projects located in B.C.
- Work rotation TBD.
