We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeping Specialist to manage financial records and ensure accuracy in our accounting processes. This role is essential for maintaining the financial health of our clients.
Qualifications- Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
- Experience: Previous experience in bookkeeping is an asset
This position requires on-site customer service and involves working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Oversee general ledgers and prepare financial statements
- Post journal entries and prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns and trial balances
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
Proficiency in the following software is required:
- Accounting software
- MS Excel
- MS Outlook
- MS Windows
- MS Word
- QuickBooks
- Simply Accounting
- TaxPrep
Own transportation is preferred, although public transportation options are available.
