Join Our Team: At Accoravillage, we are looking for dedicated individuals to become part of our nurturing community focused on early childhood education.

Position Overview: This part-time role as a Child Care Supply RECE involves working in various educational settings, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personal care to children, including assistance with toileting, first aid, and medication administration.
  • Engage actively with children, ensuring their safety and supervision in groups of up to 15.
  • Design and implement play-based learning activities aligned with our educational framework.
  • Maintain positive communication with families, colleagues, and volunteers.
  • Create an inclusive atmosphere that accommodates all children, including those with unique needs.
  • Exhibit behaviors that reflect our core values and mission.
  • Adhere to scheduled hours to maintain appropriate child-to-staff ratios.
  • Show flexibility in adapting to changing routines and responsibilities.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR (Level C) certification or willingness to obtain within the first 90 days.
  • Up-to-date immunizations in line with local health regulations.
  • Availability for either two full days per week or three afternoons.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and facilitating quality learning experiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with families and team members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg (44 lbs.).
  • Willingness to work outdoors for at least two hours daily, regardless of weather conditions.
  • Possession of an Early Childhood Education Diploma.
  • Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) or willing to pursue registration.
