CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to join our team. As a Senior Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying powerful Business Intelligence solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Design and develop complex Business Intelligence solutions using Power BI, including data modeling, reporting, and analytics.
- Data Analysis: Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
- Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable Business Intelligence solutions.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize the performance of Business Intelligence solutions to ensure they meet the needs of our clients.
- Security and Compliance: Implement row-level security and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- ETL Processes: Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into Business Intelligence solutions.
- Ad-Hoc Reporting: Develop ad-hoc reports and dashboards to meet the needs of our clients.
- 5+ Years of Power BI Experience: Proven experience with Power BI development, including data modeling, reporting, and analytics.
- Advanced Knowledge of T-SQL: Strong understanding of T-SQL and its application in Business Intelligence solutions.
- Experience with Common Data Service (CDS): Experience with CDS and its application in Business Intelligence solutions.
- Knowledge of Secondary Tools: Familiarity with secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, and Visual Studio.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 10+ Years of BI Development Experience: Proven experience with Business Intelligence development, including data modeling, reporting, and analytics.
- Experience with SSRS/RDL Development: Experience with SSRS/RDL development and management for creating paginated reports in Power BI.
- Knowledge of Power Automate: Familiarity with Power Automate and its application in Business Intelligence solutions.
