Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Technician to join our team at Raytheon Canada Limited. This role is responsible for the efficient handling and processing of goods received and shipped by the company, as well as the maintenance of all related records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track and drive completion of key deliverables and follow-up on outstanding items
  • Verify deliveries with attached shipping manifests, bills of lading or purchase orders
  • Wrap, package or crate goods for shipment and ensure completion and attachment of addressee information, packing slip(s), shipping manifests and or bill of lading
  • Record shipping activities and arrange for carrier or courier pick-up
  • Adhere to company policies, customers' requirements, national and international government regulations
  • Support development, implementation, and adoption of streamlined processes
  • Support training and development activities of team members
  • Maintain documentation and record entries in a timely manner
  • Maintain inventory accuracy targets
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and customer requirements initiatives
  • Generate inventory transactions and maintain inventory control procedures

Requirements

  • High school graduation diploma or equivalent training and/or work experience
  • 2-4 years of warehousing experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to be on-call, work alternating shifts, and possible overtime
  • Intermediate knowledge of PC-based computer systems and software applications
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks with high organization and accuracy
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Experience with ERP systems and inventory management would be an asset
