Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of unionized personnel;
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and collective agreements;
  • Serve as a primary resource for team members within the designated area;
  • Work alongside fellow supervisors to develop and implement operational strategies;
  • Encourage and enforce safe working practices through regular audits and safety meetings;
  • Monitor financial expenditures to maintain budget compliance;
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints effectively;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze incidents and enhance safety protocols;
  • Participate in the disciplinary process and manage grievance resolutions;
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Candidate Profile:

  • Possession of a valid Restricted and Non-Restricted Federal Firearms License (PAL)
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing personnel within a unionized setting;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record;
  • Firearm license is an asset;
  • Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and decision-making abilities;
  • Strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration;
  • Ability to communicate effectively and solve problems efficiently;
  • Critical thinking and active listening skills are essential.
