About the Role

Faire is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Core Infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring that our data is accurate, reliable, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for our data infrastructure, aligning with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Design and implement data models, pipelines, and architectures to support our business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of our data warehouse, ensuring it meets our business requirements.
  • Drive the adoption of emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and data visualizations to support business decision-making.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in data infrastructure, data architecture, and data warehousing.
  • Proven track record of leading and scaling data engineering teams.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience with data engineering tools, such as DBT, Airflow, and Git.
  • Expertise in SQL, Python, and Java, with a strong understanding of data modeling and data architecture.
  • Experience with enterprise BI tooling, such as Looker and Tableau.
