Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Eagle Ridge Hospital in Port Moody, British Columbia. As a Registered Nurse in our Medicine Unit, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives and work collaboratively with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Assess patients and collect information from various sources to develop effective care plans.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to promote person-centered care and ensure their rights and dignity are respected.
- Participate in care planning and delivery, including coordinating nursing care and making referrals to the interprofessional care team as needed.
- Teach patients and families about illness prevention, health restoration, and health maintenance to support their health care goals.
- Document assessments, nursing diagnoses, observations, interventions, and patient/family responses according to practice standards and Fraser Health procedures.
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Ability to complete initial and ongoing patient assessment and provide nursing care through appropriate technical, therapeutic, and safety interventions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and members of the interprofessional care team.
- Ability to promote person-centered care and demonstrate empathy, trust, and respect for patients and families.
