Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Trillium Health Partners. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient-centered care in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care for patients within an interprofessional environment, including assessment, treatment, teaching, and education.
- Teach and coach patients and families to promote healthy behaviors and self-care.
- Commit to a healthy, safe, and respectful workplace.
- Practice in compliance with provincial legislation, hospital policies, and procedures, as well as professional regulatory standards and best practices within the nursing profession.
- Maintain professional competence by completing regular professional development, including annual training and education as indicated.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a recognized college or school of nursing.
- Registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) or currently meet the eligibility criteria to register in good standing in the Temporary Class or General Class with the CNO.
- Able to function to the full scope of practice as per CNO.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Experience in caring for patients with complex medical needs, including those requiring telemetry monitoring and geriatric patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
