About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Radiation Physicist to join our team in the Fuel and Physics department at Candu Energy Inc.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and perform technical analyses using radiation transport codes, including dose calculations and activity transport models.
- Produce high-quality reports summarizing technical information and present results to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collate, assimilate, and summarize results from existing analyses.
- Develop, adapt, or modify computer codes for specific applications and to solve new problems.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Physics, Engineering Physics, or Nuclear Engineering. Postgraduate education is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience with radiation transport, performing dose calculations, activity transport, shielding applications, waste management, and radioactivity dispersion.
- Experience with computer codes MCNP, SCALE/ORIGEN, or ADDAM (equivalent codes acceptable) and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PERL, MATLAB, C++, or Fortran.
- Ability to present technical material and develop training effectively.
- Working knowledge of work processes and associated technologies.
