Mobile Engineering Team Lead

Think Dirty, Inc. is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Development Team Lead who possesses a wealth of knowledge in iOS development, a good understanding of Android systems, and proficiency in backend development utilizing Ruby on Rails. This position calls for a proactive leader who can drive project success while fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Mobile Engineering Team Lead. In this role, you will oversee and guide a group of mobile engineers specializing in both iOS and Android platforms. Your daily responsibilities will include managing software development initiatives, offering technical direction, ensuring smooth integration, and applying effective project management practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and guide a team of mobile developers, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with software development standards.
- Design, develop, and sustain applications for iOS and Android platforms, focusing on reliability, scalability, and peak performance.
- Actively contribute to the mobile team as a hands-on developer.
- Take charge of backend development using Ruby on Rails, ensuring effective integration and operational functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and backend development, to define, design, and launch new features and improvements.
- Ensure code quality, organization, and automation are maintained.
- Prepare and manage all applications utilizing standard development tools.
- Document all operational, system, and user procedures and methodologies.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, adhering to deadlines and budgetary constraints.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives, embracing new technologies and methodologies to enhance application quality and team efficiency.
- At least 8 years of experience in iOS development, with a robust portfolio of released applications that rank in the top 200 with a minimum rating of 4.5 stars.
- Some experience in Android and Kotlin development, as well as backend programming with Ruby on Rails.
- Proven leadership experience in managing a diverse team of developers remotely.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the emotional intelligence to navigate various situations.
- A product-oriented mindset with the ability to align development efforts with the strategic objectives of the company.
