Transportation Logistics Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive transportation database and associated guides.
  • Analyze and report on transportation KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective action.
  • Conduct financial impact studies to evaluate opportunities for freight optimization and cost reduction.
  • Create and manage carrier performance metrics and reporting.
  • Design and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports using Tableau, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Provide support for timely entry, audit, resolution, and payment approval of freight carrier invoices.
  • Collaborate with freight carriers and Accounts Payable to resolve payment issues.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure collaboration on supply chain functions and needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or Engineering.
  • SAP experience is highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience in Transportation, Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in Tableau, Excel, Word, Access, and Power BI.
  • Experience in high-volume, multi-site distribution with a solid understanding of TMS/ERP Systems.
  • Knowledgeable in all modes of transportation.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
