Position Overview: As a Legal Assistant specializing in litigation, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily functions of a civil litigation practice.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, edit, and finalize essential correspondence and legal documentation.
  • Assist in the completion of various litigation documents for Civil, Divisional, and Court of Appeal, including but not limited to: motion records, pleadings, notices, affidavits, affidavits of documents, and bills of costs.
  • Manage daily administrative tasks and ensure efficient calendar management.
  • Coordinate meetings and handle scheduling.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of three to five years of experience as a Legal Assistant in a litigation environment.
  • Successful completion of a relevant post-secondary Legal Assistant or Law Clerk program.
  • Strong understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite of Applications.
