Otter Co-op is currently seeking applications for a Full-Time Facilities Maintenance Specialist to support our various locations across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver maintenance support across all Otter Co-op liquor outlets, gas stations, and food stores. Conduct site evaluations and repair assessments or assign tasks to authorized contractors. Provide on-site assistance for minor repairs and routine maintenance, including preventative measures. Manage incoming maintenance requests from various locations. Ensure that maintenance requests are accurately logged and updated in our online reporting system. Conduct safety orientations and prepare contractors for maintenance tasks on-site. Prioritize maintenance tasks based on the operational needs of the organization. Collaborate with Safety & Asset Protection teams following incidents and accidents. Oversee annual contractor maintenance schedules (e.g., HVAC systems, fire suppression systems). Uphold the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community, and Excellence in all interactions. Perform additional duties as required.

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about a career in retail and possess:

A minimum of 2 years of general maintenance experience. A strong commitment to maintaining a SAFE working environment. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. A valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record. Excellent customer service skills aligned with our brand standards and core values. A proven track record of being a self-starter, dependable, and trustworthy. The capability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. The physical ability to lift, push, and pull weights up to 50 lbs. Willingness to travel frequently to various locations as business needs arise.
