Teaching Opportunity in Pemberton Area

Join School District No. 48 (Sea to Sky) in Pemberton, BC, as we seek a qualified Teacher-On-Call to support our students and staff. As a Teacher-On-Call, you will work on a part-time basis, providing instruction and support to students in various subjects and grade levels.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator who can work collaboratively with our teaching team to provide high-quality instruction and support to students. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and will be able to work effectively with students, staff, and parents from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities
  • Provide instruction and support to students in various subjects and grade levels
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement lesson plans and instructional strategies
  • Support students with diverse learning needs, including students with disabilities and English language learners
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to ensure student success
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess a valid B.C. Teaching Certificate and have a strong background in teaching and learning. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
