About the Role

As a Deli Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the daily management of the Prepared Foods department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all operational aspects, including gross profit, labor costs, and inventory management.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring satisfaction through adherence to store processes and standards.
  • Maintaining a visually appealing service counter that reflects freshness and quality.
  • Training and motivating team members to foster productivity and engagement.
  • Monitoring financial performance and ensuring departmental budgets are met.
  • Upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, ensuring compliance with food safety practices.
  • Providing guidance and support to deli staff as needed.
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of three to five years of experience in the restaurant or prepared food industry.
  • Previous leadership experience in a retail environment is preferred.
  • Educational background in merchandising or business management is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in various software applications, including Email, Word, Excel, and SAP.
