Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at Silver City Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring the smooth operation of our sites, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the guidance of experienced personnel.
  • Perform routine maintenance work to ensure the upkeep of our equipment and tools.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist in the operation of machines and equipment used in construction, under the supervision of qualified operators.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as required.
  • Fluency in English is required.
