Job Summary

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Elementary Teacher/Tutor to join our team of educational professionals. As an Interactive Coach, you will work directly with students in a supportive and engaging environment, helping them develop their academic skills and confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and support students in a one-on-one setting, providing individualized instruction and guidance
  • Follow the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies to ensure a consistent and effective learning experience
  • Communicate with students, parents, and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents as needed
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field (e.g. education, child development)
  • Teaching certification or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 9 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
