Job Summary

SUN BUILDING SUPPLIES INC. is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our warehouse team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload products and materials from trucks, containers, and storage areas.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor belts, to move materials and products.
  • Ship orders and pick orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Weigh materials and goods, and make labels as needed.
  • Pack and unpack goods, and store cargo and materials in a safe and organized manner.
  • Sort, crate, and stack goods, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No prior experience necessary, as on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Availability to work 30-40 hours per week.
